Twitter RFC

By chris dalby | October 22, 2007

I’m looking for the twitter conventions of tagging and I can’t find anything. I have been using the l:location convention for quite some time. Mainly after seeing Robert Brook do this. Did Robert invent this?

Also, I don’t really see twitterers use any other conventions similar to this. So I am putting a Request For Comments on twitter tagging. Mainly because I just created another one for status - s: status

So we got a whole bunch of normal tags to create. Leave your comments here to reserve your tag.

I didn’t think it had anything to do with Scoble, I thought it was just that Twittervision started to use l:location for placing people on the map.

Sorry, where did Scoble come from - I read “Robert” and inserted “Scoble”. D’oh! :-)
